Kammock Roo Single+ Review (2026)

Integrated bug net, Python suspension included, aerospace nylon — the hammock built to last 10 years

★★★★★
9.2/10
Reviewed by William • Updated May 2026 $139

The Kammock Roo Single+ is the hammock I recommend when people are ready to invest in one that lasts. The integrated bug net is the real feature: no second piece to rig, no gaps when wind shifts sideways. The Python straps are the best I have used: wide enough to protect bark, strong enough I have never questioned them in four years. At $139 it is double the ENO DoubleNest, but the all-included setup and materials justify it for serious hammock campers.

TrailCraft Score

What I Liked

  • Integrated bug net deploys from zippered compartment, no gaps
  • Python suspension straps included, rated 1,200 lbs, tree-bark safe
  • Aerospace-grade nylon body, most durable hammock tested
  • Structural ridgeline included for consistent sag angle
  • Rain fly attachment points built in

Limitations

  • $139 — nearly double the ENO DoubleNest price
  • 19oz with straps, not the ultralight pick
  • Overkill for occasional car camping where ENO is better value

Field Notes

Four years in Shenandoah, Blue Ridge, and Outer Banks car camping. The integrated bug net has saved every trip May through October. The Python straps have never slipped on beech bark. The structural ridgeline keeps the sag angle consistent every setup, which is the difference between a comfortable night and a banana-shaped disaster.

Integrated bug net, Python suspension, 10-year durability -- the hammock that eliminates all the extras

Who This Is For

The Kammock Roo Single+ is right for: serious hammock campers who want one complete setup for years, hikers in bug-heavy areas, and anyone willing to pay for construction that will not fail.

Common Questions

Does the Kammock Roo have a built-in bug net?
Yes -- the integrated no-see-um net deploys from an internal zippered compartment and attaches to the hammock body without gaps at the ends.
What suspension does it use?
Comes with Python straps: 9-foot, 1.5-inch polyester with sewn loops every foot for adjustment, rated to 1,200 lbs. No separate carabiners required.
Is the Kammock Roo worth the price?
At $139: yes for serious use. The included bug net, Python straps, and aerospace nylon body together approach that price when purchased separately for an ENO setup.
