Eaten on AT sections in Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania over three seasons. The chicken pieces are recognizable. The rice is fluffy, not gummy. Cold soak works but takes 30-plus minutes and texture suffers. Hot prep at 8 to 9 minutes is consistently excellent.
