Anker PowerCore 26800
#2 — Best High Capacity

Anker PowerCore 26800 Review (2026)

26,800mAh, charges phone 6 times, $70 -- maximum capacity at a fair price

★★★★★
8.9/10
Reviewed by William • Updated May 2026 $70

The Anker PowerCore 26800 is the right power bank when capacity matters more than weight. At 26,800mAh it charges a smartphone roughly 6 times -- enough for a week-long car camping trip or a family trip where multiple devices need power. The capacity-per-dollar ratio is the best tested. Two years of use without a failure. The 19.2oz weight rules it out for backpacking but for car camping it is the correct high-capacity answer.

Field Notes

Family power bank on a 7-night Shenandoah car camping trip. Charged two phones, a headlamp, a GPS device, and a camp lantern over the week without dropping below 40 percent. Three ports allowed simultaneous charging of three devices. Weight is irrelevant in a car camping context.
