What Sets It Apart
The waterproofing changes trip planning more than the weight does. On a rainy day hike with a normal pack you either carry a raincover or line the pack with a trash bag; with this you close the roll-top and stop thinking about it. DCF also does not absorb water, so the pack does not gain a pound in a downpour the way nylon does.
Who This Is For
Ultralight hikers, anyone hiking regularly in rain, packrafters and paddlers, and buyers who want a pack that lasts without weighing much.
