Non-polarized alternatives still block UV
A non-polarized lens with UV400 protection still blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays — polarization only affects glare, not UV protection. Non-polarized lenses are sometimes preferred by pilots and some anglers for specific technical reasons related to screen and water-surface reading.
