What Sets It Apart
Grinding at camp is the largest single improvement available to camp coffee, larger than upgrading the brewer. Ground coffee loses most of its aromatics within about half an hour, so the beans you ground at home on Thursday are noticeably flat by Saturday morning. Forty-five seconds of cranking recovers most of that.
Who This Is For
AeroPress owners, weekend backpackers who take coffee seriously, and anyone who has noticed that camp coffee tastes flat and wants to know why.
