The StrongArm is built around the sheath as much as the knife. The modular mounting system carries vertically, horizontally, or on MOLLE without adapters, which is more useful than it sounds when a knife needs to live on a pack strap rather than a belt. The knife is a solid full-tang 420HC blade with a diamond-textured rubber grip that stays secure when wet, plus a striking pommel for breaking glass. Nothing about it is exceptional; everything about it works, at $80 and made in the USA.
